A New Years Resolution I Can Stick With

My new years resolution this year is to create more.
I feel like I am cheating a little bit because it's a pretty easy resolution.
Do more of what I love.
I normally don't even do one though so it's a step up =)

So far I have crocheted three hats for my sister-in-law and nieces.
I started out thinking that I would be able to make one tiny baby hat with the yarn I had left.
Then I made a child hat.
Then an adult hat.
I still have yarn left.
It's the pink yarn that never ends!
Obviously my judge of how much yarn something is going to take is WAY off.

These were super fast and easy to make.
I think it's safe to say that I am addicted to crocheting.
Charlie modeled one for me.

As you can see I originally had a little pom-pom on top.
Up close it looked TERRIBLE.
I didn't use enough yarn or the right kind of yarn.
I will try it again later.
Maybe with the boys hats since a giant flower on theirs isn't an option.

Up next on my list of things to create are hats for the boys.
I found a pattern that's slightly harder than this one was.
Trying new things.

Logan's is going to be a minion hat.
He has become OBSESSED with minions.

Normally I am not a huge fan of clothing items with characters on them
But
I can't wait to see his face when I give him that hat.

He has a bunch of imaginary minions that follow him around.
It's pretty cute and so funny to hear his conversations with them.

Also on my list are baby shoes for Charlie and finishing up our mantle.
